Bail-bond support for first-time and minor-offence inmates, paired with skill-development workshops to make re-entry into society real, not theoretical.
Many inmates at Tihar are held for months on minor charges simply because they cannot afford bail. We have helped post bond for around fifty such inmates, partnered on vocational and skill-development sessions inside the jail, and continue to fund programmes that prepare them for life after release. Rehabilitation, for us, is the most direct way to break a cycle of poverty.
